A brief history of Pero Like;
Jadran Bojanić - Guitar/Vocals
Jon Dudek - Guitar
Carlos Hernandez - Bass
Bogdan Simić - Drums
PERO LIKE (1981-1985) comprised of two Croats, a Pole and a Spaniard who met in the late seventies as immigrant labourers restoring Maentwrog Hydroelectric Power Station, North Wales.
It was from there, these four teenagers discovered they all shared a passion for music and so in 1981, now based in North Wales working minor repairs on bridges and roadworks, they formed a band which would later forge Pero Like.
Friends since school, Jadran and Bogdan played in bands in their hometown Split, Croatia as a three piece folk band. Jon, an accomplished guitar player joined the fold with Carlos on bass and instantly hit it off gaining rapid local success attracting interest from luminaries such as John Peel.
Though showing promise of huge success, the band would eventually split after 4 years leaving in it's wake (approx) 150-200 recordings of unheard recordings.
In 2011, the sons of Jadran and Jon would reconnect to return the glory to the name of Pero Like that their fathers could never do. Not a cover band, not a tribute band, but a revolving lineage.
This EP, is Pero Like's self-titled demo, originally recorded in Aberystwyth 1981, "re-recorded" in 2012 by their sons, Damir, George with Damir's cousin Dominic.
